Heracles A.K.A. Hercules Hercules Hercules.

The scissors that cut the last strand of Heracles life
in the cartoon version of Hercules is the exact image I was trying
to capture. The dead sea in the background (without the bodies) and the
scissors didn't cut the string. Why? because he is a God!!!!

Circe Greek Myth Numero Duex

For the second myth I did Circe (Kirke) sorceress/enchantress
I took the fact that she turned humans into animals and kind of just did like a cartoon poof! of what would be in between. I turned my flash of and shook my camera with my shutting speed going quite slow and got about 6 pictures in which I combined then all and blurred them for the final product.

St. Patty's day

I figured this picture I found on my camera from Myrtle beach would be the only natural green I would find for a little while. I took it and I think it actually looks good.

Polar Planet Fun

So Just a little Before and After

I only did a little editing with the sky in the photo and then polar coordinated it into what is shown here.

CeCe! Trent!

Not my best work, but I feel like dimmed lighting kind of enhanced the view of Elise that I was trying to capture! Her eyes really light up and have a nice tone.

I like this one a lot. The lighting outside was perfect and the brick wall behind him gave the photograph a lot of movement!

Josie, and the Pussycats.

Originated from the band Josie and the Pussycats. This cat Josie Marie got her name. This picture has very little editing done to it and looks natural. The rug up close was a brown and red rug. Perfect for black and white, and it stands out perfect. The background with the chairs and the sliding glass door, well that had to get a Guassian Blur, because that's what all backgrounds deserve. As for her eyes they needed a contrast check, and just by brightening them up quite a bit, she looks real and she looks good. My favorite of the two kitties. Josie Marie wins by a long shot. She is fluffy, likes to be pet, doesn't whine, doesn't cry, and has the cutest Meow!

Tom & Jerry, Plus Katie.

I have such a strong dislike for this cat, but she's the only one who could help make deadline, not to mention, she stood there and felt the fame. I apologize to her for the bright flash she endulged in over and over, but it the end, I didn't care if this met requirements. I was asked to take a portrait and that I did. The portrait of this cat sticks out. Her bright green eyes that I *Slightly Enhanced* ;] and her gray brown color that I tried to fade to blue, but it looked so intense that I just had to keep it. Althought I highly dislike this cat, I love this picture. :)

It's Just a Blur Color Reflect

Definetly not my favorite, of editing, but when push comes to shove, sometimes you need to just crunch. This was one of those times. Again with technology being the biggest part of our society, this is the scrabbled up life that we live. Look at these. Do you understand what they are? Would you know how to connect them to make them work? What if they already work? Splice? Ground? Hot? Do you know what any of that means? Very similar to when your out in public and see something that confuses you. Why did that person throw away that brand new news paper? Throw that out the window of their car ect. There was no fancy editing here, maybe some lighting techniques but nothing special, after all it's just a blur.

Shocking. Color Reflect.

With this assignment, I felt, Technology controls the world so I took a few electronic/ electrical photographs. This one is just a regular orange extension cord with a blue Ethernet cable behind it. Because we are so wrapped up in our lives and the shape of our economy, I felt it necessary to extenuate the orange extent ion cable because honestly we all need a break and a little more. The Ethernet cord (the blue one) isn't really sticking out too much, the cool thing about this one is that our world is networked together, as soon as we become unplugged we are "screwed". Right? Think about it. Can you go without talking to anyone or anything every again? No more take out? Drive thru's are gone. No Texting, email, Facebook, MySpace, Blogger. Doing papers by hand and research in a library, rather than the convenience of your laptop in your bedroom, while your snuggled under the covers. Think about that.
